- Download the installer and iPodPatcher for your OS. Place them in the same folder.
- Connect you iPod to your computer.
- Make sure there is no folder called "iLoader" on it.
- Open a terminal (cmd on Windows), and change to the directory where you placed the downloaded files.
- Run the following command:
- ./ipodpatcher -a ipodnano2g-installer*.ipodx
- Safely eject and unplug your iPod. It will reboot and start the installer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Wait for the installation to complete. It may take up to five minutes.
- Your iPod should now be showing a nice boot menu :)
